Why Whole Word?

The Old Testament is foundational for understanding Jesus’ message of the Kingdom and is critical to building and sustaining faith-based communities. Yet, only 9% of the world’s languages have a full Bible. And on average only 1 in 5 Bible translation projects focus on translating the whole Old Testament.

WHY WHOLE WORLD?

80% of the world’s population are oral learners— people who do not read or prefer to learn by oral means.

For 70 million people worldwide, sign language is their first or only language.

A critical need is to expose, educate, and mobilize servant-leaders for effective service among Bible-less people groups, oral preference learners and the Deaf. To accomplish this, we must enable access and engagement with the full Word of God in oral-visual forms in every language.
